I know people saying he's talking about Cole, but I think Nas was talking about Tragedy on King's Disease

"You a king, you will be next to me, doing your own king shyt, most definitely
We're so "Say less when I speak", y'all estrogen speak
Respected by kings only, address me as chief
Invested in things only a vet would
Only lames front on kings, that's expected from creeps
You mad at my nikkas and any woman with any interest in me
You could've made it (You was good), look at all the time wasted

Now you gotta retract statements, shoulda stuck to the basics
All you had to do was tell the truth, like, fukk all the fake shyt
You should want every brother to make it out
But brothers want trophies, they troll for clout

Rap is weird, weird flex, but okay
You ain't as ill as you think, you just okay
You got pressed in the hood, fix your jibs up
I'm on top Stop fighting it, yo, stop with the over-righteousness
"

Specifically what's highlighted. Am I bugging?

Or Nature. No way it's Cole...it doesn't fit, clearly he's talking about someone he personally knows, likely from his hood/city.

Yo he’s got a joint called Fear God on Conway’s upcoming joint they drops on September 11th. It seriously reminds me of a remix to the old Chicago Bulls walkout music but with really dope ass drums on it. He’s got another one with Conway and T.I. with these melancholy keys on it. Dope as fukk.

I always thought of Hit-Boy as the guy that did the Paris beat. Which I thought was overrated. But he’s been killing it lately. He has a project of himself rapping that he dropped in January that I’ll link below that’s fire.

Benny is dropping an album produced by him on September 5th and afternoon hearing this Nas album’s production, I can’t wait. I think he went from not being on my radar to in my top 10 producers right now just based on his 2020 work alone.

He can spit too.

I'll tell ya...I liked that Chauncy Hollis album. I dont really keep up with the more famous producers who do a lot of commercial r&b and rap. even though Nas has clearly lost a step or two imo, he is still better than 95% of the rappers out there. never had an issue with his rapping, just production. this is a very well produced album. the Dom Kennedy joint was alright too. looking forward to the Butcher album.
