Why does it have to be compared to the best album of all time. The best album of all time was created over 25 yrs ago & Nas has always had to be reminded that whatever he does is not better than ILLMATIC. This rhetoric is old and tired. We damn near 3 decades later and for whatever reason Nas has to always do better. According to y’all he gave y’all his BEST & y’all still asking him to make every album better than the BEST! It’s silly to keep doing that 3 decades later. He is giving you his real life experience NOW!
You good breh :therethere:, it’s just a message board opinion that’s it, shyt is not even that important you’re right I apologize

Nas took 50 and Yayo on tour with him during Nastradamus. Yayo been a fan.
Off topic but remember when 50 was the man and was on radio shytting on Nas saying he's irrelevant and cold and all that? Lol. It just goes to show, talent doesn't really have an expiration date, if you're uniquely talented and true to what you do you don't get "cold" and all that bullshyt that all these other 3-5 year ass rappers go thru, which is pretty much all of them. The great ones persevere, think of all the huge rappers that have come and gone (50 Cent included, lol) in the 27 years Nas has been here rockin shyt...now in 2020 his albums are still gigantic events in hip hop while you can't even pay somebody to care about them dude's music.

Man I'm really gonna breakdown life is good vs kings disease. They are opposite albums in so many ways. Is it a sign of the times that kings disease is shorter and more easily digested? Does that make it better than LIG? Or was LIG the end of the physical album era? So much to deep dive. shyts fascinating. Nas belongs in the Smithsonian

Cats still on twitter asking for a 9th wonder/Nas album :mjlol:

More Hit-boy for me :feedme:

fukking Little Brother didn’t even want to deal with 9th enough to do an album with him.

Gods Stepson is an OK remix album that somehow got blown into being this mythological masterpiece that mandated Nas work with 9th when in actuality the only superior mix was 9th’s version of “The Cross”. Everything else on the OG Gods Son is better.

I’m actually glad Nas never worked with 9th. 9th started that “Nas picks wack beats” bullshyt.

Even when 50 was dissing Nas he was still giving him props. He always said The Message was his favorite song. He always talked about Nas taking him on tour.

50’s main problem was he felt abandoned when Nas did the J-Lo remix that he got taken off of.
