Spent the past day and a half with this. shyt is (obviously) dope. It's hard for old(er) dudes to mesh their old(er) style with the new school, but I feel Nas got it done. No surprise really, cause he's the GOAT after all, but to say that I was less than enthusiastic with the features when the tracklist dropped would be an understatement. And I was wrong. They don't WOW me, but they certainly didn't fukk up the album. Well, I coulda done with another Nas verse on 'Replace Me', as Sean's verse was just...whatever.

Firm reunion was it. Outside of Foxy's voice being...different...Mega and AZ. Whew them boys still got it. Can't find a skip amongst the songs. As I said, even the 'questionable' features are tolerated.

I know I'm probably in the minority with how music is consumed these days, but dammit I want more. I feel like it's just too short. I'm vibin', then it just ends. I know everyone gonna point to Illmatic (as far as playing time) but dammit I don't care. Give me more. Which kinda leads to my next point:

WHAT THE fukk IS THAT DRE CLIP?!?

Nah, seriously

WHAT. THE. fukk. IS. THAT. DRE. CLIP?!?

If there's more Nas music coming, with Dre involved, you can entirely ignore my point about the length. There's not many things more exciting than seeing Nas and Dre together in the studio with music being made. Of course with Dre's track record, we gotta hold our collective breath, but damn was that clip beautiful.

I'm noticing some of those dudes that normally bash Nas albums and throw low key shots at him when he release albums are quiet. A lot of them are producers some of y'all said he needs to make albums with :leostare:
