Yep. Got blogs out here calling shyt forgettable after 2 days while the album still ringing out and getting plaudits. I can’t be letting these people put this energy out there.

Look at that blog “the golden age”. They stuck and they haters! Concentrate and prove them wrong. Let’s Go! Stream!

I know it isn’t but the Cure would be an incredible track to retire on. The beat, the reflections and reminiscing, the ‘roll the credits’ line, reference to his old verses and the jewels he spits on his life. Even ends with the whole ‘Bridge shyt’ and even has an ad-lib from I think Jungle from Illmatic. If someone said that was Nas’ last ever track I’d listen and think this is the perfect song to go out on

Mega's song about falling out with nas is still one of my favorite sad song in hip-hop. Some people call this a diss song, and I guess it counts, but to me it's more of just a joint about what it's like to fall out with people in life
:mjcry:but :wow:

It’s not a diss song at all cuz Mega was very respectful and from the heart.

Plus I’m pretty sure it was around the time mama Ann Jones passed :wow:

Nas is on point lyrically, but is losing his ferociousness (on purpose? adult delivery?) on his vocals. If he wasn't spitting such knowledge alot of these would border on 'boring' songs. I'ma keep like 4 of these in rotation. Better than NASIR and Lost Tapes 2, but all 3 of these projects have been disappointing for Nas standards, and don't top ANY of his older albums. The God is getting old though, and I'm still surprised he can put out such efforts this late into his career when most would be putting out straight garbage. Legacy not tarnished with this, still in my top 3.
