He shouted out 9th Wonder, so now y’all can shut up about it. Good interview, crazy how he was still questioning his legacy well after Stillmatic, that’s insane lol.

:russ: The part about his acting in Belly and him getting pulled to the side :laff:

Never seen him this open. The secret project sounds like it’s coming soon.

Hype for the secret project. Nas seems excited by it.

Swizz no surprise pushing that Hov Verzuz. His reaction implies Swizz begging Nas to do it

Interesting reply on the whole Jay releasing stuff at same. As I believe Nas saying pure coincidence but when Envy reeled off the releases Nas did end with :dwillhuh: ‘Ask Hov’ about that

Rest in Glory Baby Girl. 19 Years later. I remember back in 99 everyone thought "You Won't See Me Tonight" should of been a single especially with NaS on the Timbaland beat. When the album dropped , we were sure there would be a video with NaS and Aaliyah but it didn't happen. Of course NaS would drop "You Owe Me" with Ginuwine later that year. Not to mentioned "To My" with Mad Skillz on Tim's basement album and "Hot Boyz" Remix with Missy (Which was the longest running #1 Rap Single for 20 years 99-2019). NaS was killin on Tim's beats.

to be completely honest, I wasn't feeling a lot of the tracks last Thursday night, King's Disease, Full Circle,The Cure were dope from the start

but those tracks 6 through 9 weren't sitting right with me, but then they got stuck in my head and I kept going back to them and they grew on me, and now I think they're fire and all sound like single material

Full Circle is still my favorite joint

overall I'm just happy for Nas, seeing him on IG and in these interviews, I think he's feeling huge relief

also happy for his fans who always knew he was capable of making something that was not only dope but also still relevant, feeling vindicated

That Breakfast Club interview is the GREATEST Nas interview i’ve ever heard.

FINALLY a group of people, who not only know Nas but don’t ask the same generic “Illmatic” “Nas Vs. Jay-Z” bullshyt.

Charlemagne asked some AWESOME questions and Nas was very open and personable. Angela Yee asked some good personal questions, and Envy was Envy just less annoying.

I LOVE that we can finally put all this bullshyt to bed about the Jay-Z putting out Albums same day as Nas crap. Nas isn’t bothered and could care LESS.

@UserNameless @TheDarceKnight Nas spoke on 9th Wonder and the God Stepson remix. There is NO BEEF and its all love.

@spliz @Piff Perkins I am now 100% CONVINCED that the secret project is a Nas produced Dr Dre album and its dropping in Winter. I felt Charlemagne was corny for throwing out that “Rick Ross executive produced” Nas album bullshyt. Not only is that a TERRIBLE guess, its pretty disrespectful to Nas himself. He doesn’t need another artist, let ALONE an Escobar clone, to exec his albums.

fukking phenomenal interview all in all

Nas ain’t doing NO Verzus any time soon:russ:

Those are Hip-Hop relationship songs. :mjlol: If you have gone through a tough break up lately, they hit different.

It doesn’t really put anything to bed being that no one ever said Nas cared. Lol. U saw how he reacted when they listed the history. It wasn’t just in people’s imagination if that was the case so many people wouldn’t have caught on to it. Either way Nas just said ask Hov. Lol. He don’t care about that type of shyt. I’m glad he addressed the beats shyt. He doesn’t agree with it and he even made his case. One thing I will say was Char was being genuine cause he always defended Nas’ discography against that sentiment. Yea I’m convinced the secret album is the Dre shyt too. Lol
