Nas has a weird way of recording his vocals 'cause he usually just reads off a paper and goes 'where ever his instincts take him'. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

It worked like a m***f***a on Nas Is Like.
I still don't know how he caught the beat on those opening bars.

He messed up his verse towards the end of that video of him and Dre in the studio that was just released.
