Yall in here trying to front on Pete Rock like yall weren't dikkriding that EP he did with Benny and Smoke DZA months ago :gucci:

Or do yall just get caught in the hype of a new release from a "name" and then forget about it a week later :scust:
Pete Rock has been on fire lately, great work with Smoke DZA, Benny and Skyzoo.
He's actually more active now than in the 2000s.

I loved that EP Pete/Benny/Dza did.

for the same reason I’m excited about this Nas/Hitboy project.

it’s a mix of “classic” and “new”

Nas and Pete Rock have had 30 years to do a project and they haven’t for whatever reasons.

I feel like this is more progressive.

Nas basically refuses to work with the people everyone has been waiting on for like 20 years. LOL!!!

I would've loved to see him do something with ALC, Pete or Primo. I would've even been cool with Harry or anyone else that seems more of a match. I'm not into Hit-Boy as much as I was during his Surf Club days way back. But any Nas project that drops, is a project that I'm going to support. So I'm hype to see what he's cooked up this time. It should be dope.
