i have no idea im assuming hitboy
1. nas is a one and done type artist. he records something and gets over it very quickly for a multitude of reasons.
2. nas has many records and verses over other beats. its possible hitboy "remixed" an acapella. this would be a new track to you just like the pete rock etc which is already a decade plus old as well
3. speaking to cormega in depth i am under the impression he thought this track was scrapped etc
even if this track doesnt drop (it will) more new and unreleased firm will be released this year

Nas fan base is weird. It’s really disheartening how some of you are. It’s like you do all this assumption and unrealistic mind expectation that you damn near take away from the album bc you have this idea of what you want Nas to deliver instead of just enjoying the actual moment.

Nas has ALWAYS shown love to the younger generation. He said nice things about Souljah Boy when everybody was calling him wack. He gave compliments to Drake. He straight up said “The South kept the lights on in Hip Hop” when everyone was saying that Hip Hop Is Dead was a diss to the South. He said he listens to Da Baby and Lil Baby. He took J.Cole under his wing when Cole was fresh in the game.
Nas has NEVER hated on newer rappers or their movements. He was on Big Sean’s album. He was on Tyga’s album. He’s been on songs with FUTURE of all rappers. The only rapper he’s really dissed in the past few years is when he said he wasn’t feeling Chingy’s little 15 minutes of fame.
Anyone whose a Nas fan knows that he marches to the beat of his own drum. I can’t imagine WHY after all these years anybody would think we were getting a fukking album of DJ Premier, Pete Rock, and Large Professor beats in 2020. Its absurd
