I thought about it and right now I'm concluding that at least one meaning is in reference to Martin Luther King. King's "disease" was his fight against racism and injustice for his people. Why would a noble cause be a disease? Because it is ultimately what caused his death, which is what a disease does. It also causes pain, frustration,, and tests you,, but if you survive it, it makes you stronger. This is compounded by the fact that King initially took a nonviolent approach, but later saw that maybe arming one's self wasn't a bad idea and integrating with racists was premature.

Nas "fans" are truly cut from a different cloth.
He put up King's Disease cover art on his ig, and in the comments, somebody is asking if Lost Tapes 3 is ever coming out...lol n smh

How does this guy maintain his sanity? His fans are nuts....
He said back on Stillmatic freestyle "Momma I can't trust my fans"

I think King's Disease could have multiple meanings...I think it could also be a reference to his career, where he was once dubbed as the king of rap but as time when many started doubting the king. So the king became disillusioned with the people and the throne. Heavy is the head that wears the crown type of deal. I also think JustCKing is on point though. Ultra Black has me thinking this will almost be a sequel to Untitled :ahh:

I also keep thinking about the gout thing because that's the disease of kings...then the album cover has the food spread for the king. When Cacfork reviewed Adam & Eve, they said Nas was "ignoring the dangers of gout" cuz he kicked some food bars. :dahell:

I know Nasir doesn't give a fukk about some dumb ass trolling Pitchfork review tho so it def has nothing to do with that.

Mega hasn’t bigged up Nas like this since 06 when they performed Affirmative Action together

I remember Mega saying he liked Nasty (around the same he was wishing Nas well when he was in the hospital and when Nas said "beef is corny, shoutout to Mega") but then it seemed right back to coldness afterwards. Glad it's all good between them now either way.

The artist was asked about the meaning in her post.
