After 3 listens. Hit boy gets an A for production, the marriage of modern sound and nostalgic Nas is phenomenal. Like I said earlier in this thread, if you think Nas is the greatest then you should want to hear him over different soundscapes instead of the same "boom Bap and mafioso". This album sounds like no other Nas album which is what you want and a continues and the tradition of Nas have a such a diverse discography. The features were a B in totality. AZ, Durk, Fiv, Fox, Ferg, Dre all did their thing. Sean verse could of been better but still good. The singers also a B. Now Nas rapping was a B-,(IWW is A+ rapping). Since Nas is the greatest, B- rapping can be better than "A" production or "B" features, or A rapping from another artist etc. Nas is floating on here, delivery only get choppy a couple times. Jewels are being dropped everywhere. Obviously songs like '27 Summers' and 'Definition' needed another verse. No real skippables, But only after 3 listens maybe no song will make Nas top 40. Overall very good album. Lot of replay value being this is the only Nas album like this. Too early to see where it falls in his discography. 4 mics after 3 listens. Could be higher. Great job all around
