'Spicy' is another phenomenal addition to the album. That and '27 Summers' was going off in the streets last night. It was great strategically calling it a "bonus" song. Once again shoutout out to Nas for never just doing what his fans/critics want him to do and always pushing himself artistically. That is the only reason hes the greatest of all time....

He is the definition of a true artist. Thank god he doesn’t listen to critics.

After sitting with the album a bit, this is the 3rd best Nas album (not counting The Lost Tapes) to me.

Still can’t mess with 6-9, but maybe they will grow on me.

Do you really think so? In terms of better highs, consistency, or both?

I've been playing just 4 songs on repeat today, (Car 85 is a gem), but maybe I need to get faded and listen to the whole thing again.

Nonetheless regardless of how I felt the album on first listen, I'm glad he's getting big buzz and praise for this. Genius of an artist to stay relevant through all these years.

I hate to rank Nas albums against themselves because the bar is unfairly high. I got Illmatic, IWW, and LIG as my top 3. It’s personally too early for me to rank this one with the rest but in no way would it be a slight to this album to not crack that top 3.
