I don't think it reaches the absolute highs of a lot of his other albums, but it's so consistently dope and so well paced.

It was a combination of Cacfork and Rolling Stone

Rolling Stone won’t rate the album though, they haven’t rated the last two Nas albums

Thats things people missing he was in a clubhouse that was praising Nas for making a great album and it came off on some hater type shyt to come in with that statement. On top of that relevance does not determine what good music is. Just because someone is more relevant doesn't mean their music is already better. He was in his feelings cause people were saying that KD3 was potential album of the year and that this run Nas has been on is solidifying that he is the GOAT.

Exactly. He was answering a question that wasn't asked of him. It comes off salty. He got met with some resistance and tried to clean it up but it was all about ego. I don't think he hates Nas or doesn't respect him. I feel like his ego got bruised.

Crazy thing is Nas has about 5-6 songs off these kings disease albums that should be in regular rotation on radios and clubs, but these djs and radio stations don’t break new dope records like they should.

I wanted to let this album sit with me for at least a week before I commented in this thread.

This album is incredible. This is exactly what I want as a Nas fan.

And for this to follow Magic?! Insane.

This elevates what already was the best discography in hip hop.

I swear I hate beat switches with a passion. ‘Don’t Shoot’ has all the making of a classic somber Nas track …but it switches to uptempo after 1 minute


Like imagine if Purple, or Durags, or you’re da man had a beat switch after 1 verse
