One thing that I been noticing is now people are sleeping on KD1 now cause of how great the ones that followed are. Lets not forget how great the first one was too. KD1 had no skips for me. Car85 was my ish :blessed:

Cats do this every time Nas drop a new album. This is a big reason why I don't like ranking Nas' albums other than in a general sense because it ends up devaluing previous great work.

Michael & Quincy vs Rare

What we choosing brehs?

:sadbron:

"Michael & Quincy"

^^^ those two verses are crazy, the hook is crazy, and so is the production. "Rare" is a great song too, but "Michael & Quincy" is another level. It has that classic Nas energy. Nothing on "Rare" is touching this:

Jeepers, creepers, America's a baby that's teethin'
shyttin' on itself, cryin' for it's next feedin'
As odd as it gets, it's not even a toddler yet
Gang members got nothin' on these congressmen

Moonwalkin', smooth criminal talkin' (smooth talk)
I'm changin' colors right now, 'til I'm dark-skinned ('til I'm dark-skinned)
Adam Clayton Powell, complexion of Baldwins
Annie, are you okay, watchin' me transformin'?
