Nas first single for Streets Disciple was Thief's theme and the album was the total opposite of that track b.

We could take it all the way back to 96 with "I ruled the world" that was the only rnb type sounding track like that on the entire IWW album b.

Nastradomus and You Owe me were the ONLY two corny commercial songs on that album, the rest of it was straight dark apocalyptic shyt

i didn't like thief's theme or street's disciple. i don't really like anything this dude's put out since illmatic, to be real with you. he was possessed when he made that album. since then, even including it was written, the nikka's been.....
