i refuse to conform
yo, yo, I live it and I speak it
My religion is reefer
Big money in most, an uninhibited freak to sleep with
My visions are realistic, nothing’s figurative
I can wish it into existence, God want this nikka to live
Blunt big as a dread, I get high and forget who bled
Who we stomp-kicked in the head and who we left for dead
Who are you nikkas? Why argue nikkas?
The truth is the truth, I really put my scars on nikkas
They wait a lifetime, they tell they hoes, “Nas did this”
Pointin’ to they scars like, “Right here, baby, really Nas did this”
Like a badge of honor, not braggin’ I’m just honest
War stories we tell them, nothin’s realer than karma
Sip prohibition liquor, prohibition whiskey
Rap Jack Demsey, Matt Black Bentley, pimply
Shatterin’ your silence, pass around the chalice
Due to my Indian ancestry at the weed dispensery
Official kings and gents is who I mix and mingle with
fukk your ice, I rock rubies, amethyst
I fukk your wife cause she a groupie, scandalous
This for my bad hood bytches, ghetto glamorous

Nas will continue to seperate himself from his peers before, during, and after him
the older he gets. There's never been a more talented MC in the game.

And now that he's comfortable in his skin and wiser, he'll continue to make
incredible albums until he succumbs to death. The man gift is writing and that's why
others can't see him.

From what I heard, this project was done in haste. Jay wanted to do an album and timberland started vibing. Then Samsung came with the dollars and jay went :smugdraper::troll: drop this within a month. I just can't believe how lackster this effort is lyrically from Jay. To be honest I know alot of y'all think I hate jay, I don't. I thought he was a respectable MC. But some of MCHG is just :shaq2:

Yeah that's pretty much how I feel, you can tell this was a business move for him, in that interview he said something about when he works with Just it has to be focused, that's almost implying this album wasn't focused. I think he knows that he didn't really lyrically go in on this album and deliberately played it safe, it's almost as if he was trying to hustle Samsung lol. I don't think I've ever heard Jay be so poor lyrically for his standard.
