The tough thing about this post is that it's dividing QB fans and also it just depends on people's taste. People that care a lot more about lyrics than production might say LIG. People that care more about production might say AE. people that care about the total package could say either, depending on their taste.

I prefer AE, and I think it's P's best lyrical effort since Murda Muzik and HNIC, and I love ALC production. But I also like LIG. Nas is better than P but P delivered a top 3 album of 2013 with this one. AE is so cohesive and there's really no skippers on there. The songs are short and there are beat switch ups, which don't let anything get too stale or repetitive.

Most of the beats have interesting sounds thrown in, and the samples playing out at the end of songs, and the album kind of runs together as one long song. It's like a big collage.

P is really focused, and he doesn't go all the way back to the hell On Earth flow, but he uses some elements of it, like starting the next bar with the last phrase of the previous bar, and his story telling is sharp. The guests spots are good.

LIG is a great album, and both are 2 of my favorites from 2013. But LIG has more songs that I skip, the production is a little less interesting to me, and I don't like the features as much. But anyone saying Nas is a better rhymer than Prodigy, you get arguments from me on that.

Nas would've fit perfectly on AE. R.I.P. was actually one of my least favorite beats on AE but imagine Nas on there with P, Hav, and Rae..Nas kills those beats with breakbeat drums on them. Imagine that guitar riff at 2:50 and then when the drums come back in, Nas is rapping and just blacks out for like 24 bars.

Alchemist out produced No ID & Salaam rather easily. Every song on AE is dope, hardbody, gutter hip hop innovation. Life Is Good is a bit soft and has a fantasia feel. Plus, there are flat out wack songs on LIG.

Now, despite what u schnoz Stan's say, zombie appocalypse P put forth a worthy, complementary performance here vocally. All hardbody. No throwing his kids under the bus or simping over Kelis rapping over drakes producers beats.

Album cover AE kills there.

Features?

AE:

Raekwon, havoc, roc Marc, domo, al & Bronson

LIG:

Rick Ross, Mary J Blige, Anthony Hamilton, Miguel, Swizz Beatz & winehouse

Swizz fukking Beatz

You Stan's are a shameful lot.

I will take Mobb Deeps music in the 90's over Nas music in the 90's.

But life is good is better than any project Prodigy did since the first HNIC.

I agree with the first part, because Mobb Deep is my favorite duo of all time. The 2nd part I definitely respect, and almost agree. I would put LIG over any Nas project after HNIC except for Albert Einstein and maybe Return of the Mac. Al and P just have such great chemistry, and they bring out the best in each other.

I think Life is good might be Nas best album since the 90's even better than Street's Disciple.

Nas really surprised me with this album and the content in his lyrics.

ROTM & AE still have Prodigy giving us his usual lyrical content.
