Section.80 had more flavors and Section.80 had better beats

Keisha's song is a modern Brenda's got a baby
Yeah, meaning Keisha's Song has been done before...

It's a great song and all but damn. Blaze A 50 is better than Keisha's Song too

The production on Lost Tapes was perfect for Nas. Line for line, verse for verse, concepts, hooks, storytelling, Kendrick ain't fukking with Nasir on Lost Tapes.

Yo, you believe when they say we ain't shyt, we can't grow?
All we are is dope dealers, and gangstas and hoes?
And you believe when they be tellin you lie, all on the media?
They make the world look crazy to keep you inside?
Why you listen when the teachers at school
know you a young single parent out strugglin, they think you a fool
Give your kids bad grades and put 'em in dumber classes
Killin shorty future, I wonder how do we last it
Underground in they casket? Ancestors turnin
I'm learnin somethin every day, there is no Lazareth
Words like God is Greek or Latin
My nikkaz is chillin, gettin high, relaxin
Envisionin, ownin shyt, yo it can happen
What do we own? Not enough land, not enough homes
Not enough banks, to give a brother a loan
What do we own? The skin on our backs, we run and we ask
for reperations, then they hit us with tax
And insurance if we live to be old, what about now?
So stop bein controlled, we black zombies
:whew:
About to play this joint.

Section.80 had better concepts and hooks than Lost Tapes. And Blaze a 50 just was a nice story. It didn't change the way people view life like Keisha Song did? And I didn't even talk about hiiipower yet or Ronald Reagan era

thy agree,i haven't bumped this forever, might give it a spin tonight..

Nas documentary&concert>>>Kendrick's life

Ab Soul dough, thy like the cut of that man's jib..pawwse where applicable:whoa:

thy wanna hear a studio/budgeted Jay Rock album too..

i've been bumping Mr.Wonderful,Blade Of The Ronin, and Sour Soul more than TPAB,tis still better than GKMC overall, but i liked the grime-ier feeling and that double track with MC Eiht twas like the highlight of GKMC for moi,TPAB is nice(esp Blacker The Berry)but thy just don't feel the need to bump it,esp with it being so trendy:ld::francis::troll:

Doo Rags,Purple,Nothing Lasts Forever,No Ideas,Drunk By Myself=:ahh:

This made me laugh out loud for some reason lol.

I honestly like Nastradamus better than all of Kendrick's albums, that's an honest opinion.

Nas is a true great, with Nas it don't feel like hype to me just natural greatness.

^^ Am I the only 1 that liked this song? Obviously the unedited version I mean.

I don't think this is 1 of Nas' best albums at all, but I do think it was good still, with some great songs. Memorable ones too, and I remember and feel them more than any Kendrick song personally, unapologetically too.

Family a song you can just feel too, puts you in that war type mood, in beef you can relate to a song like that, that's what I like about an artist like Nas, I can FEEL his music, with Kendrick it sounds more robotic and mechanic, I can appreciate certain things but the feeling, especially the deep feeling just isn't there with me. I didn't think Kendrick's new album was awful, I thought it was decent, but I don't think he's an elite MC or artist in any way, he's just average to me.

Keisha's Song ain't change shyt dawg. :childplease:

It's a great song but like you said it's a re-updated version of Brenda's Got A Baby, Sasha Thumper-esque, etc. story of a new gen rapper.

Nas' lyricism & imagery created a more cinematic feel on Blaze A 50 than K.Dot displayed.
