One thing I do wish is that they promoted these projects a little harder with some additional marketing assets … like it’s pretty unprecedented that Nas is collaborating with a single producer this much ..never has happened in his career … it feels like they should be doing Hitboy&Nas tour dates / Documentaries / Interviews and just more overall content around it …idk maybe they don’t care but just feels like the moments should feel a little bigger when these two drop considering the uniqueness of the situations
it's so different but I fukk wit it
Some of y’all musical opinions are awful. This is “I wanna hear old kanye” status.it’s 2023 ,go bump that 90’s music if you wanna hear 90’s musicNever understood the love affair with Magic 1…shyt was boring to me. This is a decent album. Something to listen to for the weekend but nothing mind blowing. I love Nas going to see him in September at Barclays but seriously at this point we don’t need anymore Hit projects
I saw a few tweets saying that he finally killed the double time flow, but I’m confused because Nas has a TON of good songs where he uses that flow
I thought the Nasir reactions were way worse.First time I've seen a Nas album recieved worse on this site than anywhere else.
Might have to do with how Coli receives some Nas albums though. Even here we have a decent amount of folks putting KD and KDII ahead of Magic and KDIII, and I don't usually see that everywhere else.
The 50 appearance reminded me of when he showed up randomly on the title track on "Encore". Just shows up says some random bars and bounces, leaving me wondering why he even bothered to show up.Nas cleaned up nicely though, so track is still
.
He sounds the best he’s ever sounded using it on this album thoI saw a few tweets saying that he finally killed the double time flow, but I’m confused because Nas has a TON of good songs where he uses that flow
