U don’t fukk wit Don’t Shoot? Bloodclat. Lol
Lyrically it’s great, it’s just one of them type records that, if it was my album or I was producing the album, I’d solely put it on there just because of the lyrics/message only…which wouldn’t suffice for me, I need the bars and the beat and everything to click for it to make the album.

The beat is actually dope…I don’t know why I skip it really, lol. Nah, I do, it just sounds uninspired or sumn, like he made it with “make a conscious type record because I’m Nas” on the brain. I could be wrong of course…that’s just what I get from it. I get why you and others fukk with it tho, it’s a good record. Nothing is really wack on any of these albums…I’d say the closest shyt to wack is YKTV, and it’s really not tho 😆.

I thought EPMD was wack but I know that’s just a me thing, I f’n loathe that beat man, shyt is like nails on a chalkboard to my ears

In my books to be a real Nas fan you have to consider every single song he ever made a classic and you need to at minimum have a full back Nas tattoo
Nah. I am a clear super fan and I ain’t never on nothing like that, with Nas or anybody else. Not everybody turns the respect they have for someone’s craft into a personal kinship with the artist lol. Nas gets slighted and fukked over so much (even still today, imo) by media and radio and all that that some of his base feel like they gotta go even harder for him, which is understandable

Nas definitely gets slighted by media and radio. If the real ones in the fan base didn’t go so hard for Nas, he would be slighted even more honestly.

Nas music doesn’t resonate outside the Stan base like y’all think it should

Again, random commentary isn't what I'd consider media. Maybe you have a point with radio, but on average Nas gets slightly better reviews than quite a few rappers (only K.Dot is doing better in reviews currently).

1. Braveheart Party never has and never will exist.

2. Smokin' is better than every Hit-Boy era track except The Cure.

Peace.

This isn’t talked about enough :pachaha:I can’t think about another album where a track that’s on the original album—-not a bonus, or a Best Buy deluxe—-a legit album cut that’s just removed like it didn’t exist. It’s off Apple Music and everything.

There’s tons of so called Nas fans never heard that song. You woulda had to actually been there to remember…..And that’s also how you know how delusional a Nas fan is the nggas who post in these threads would probably defend that song

Nobody's defending that song. It's universally agreed that it's his worst song.
