They recorded around 80 tracks together during the run and to me there's not one bad song. Maybe 2 or 3 I can do without but no real misses. That's how great it was
Yea you are right. I said the same thing. There are no outright flagrant misses. Some song may not vibe with certain peoples taste, but they covered all bases. There are couple of records that I think could have used a few more features and they would have been even more appealing in the mainstream. For example, I think if Nobody had Nas X Lauryn X Andre 3000 that song goes even further. Andre fits the theme of that perfectly. Spicy with Cardi B and Ferg. Replace me with Nas X Drake X Big Sean X Don Toliver. But overall I’m happy with what they did.

Yep. I would have replaced Eminem with Redman

Saw this earlier, I had to laugh. This guy got drunk thinking he was gonna the These Are Our Heroes treatment.

I guess I was being naive thinking Nauz wouldve reached out to him to say, yo I named a track after you, but dont trip, its bless.

Unfortunately Eminem gets a lot of more views and ears than red man
KDII (and the rest of the work after that TBH) was singleless, with EPMD really being remix of the Black Messiah sdtk.

no shyt, the eminem feature ITSELF contributed 10000 (not even an exaggeration) in first week sales on top the first KD. And people kept coming back to these albums because Eminems name was able to bring the ears, and the critics to really start paying attention to Nas, which brought those ears to Magic, and KDIII, and so on and so forth.

I say sales and i know nobody cares about sales from @Another Man but they are important that he's organically bringing in listeners into his orbit. many of them surely not alive when he made his first run.

Last two IMO really didn't have the claws to have me really tap in past a week. Far better than LT2 but they really did feel like Lost Tapes.

I still don’t get how this album is so damn slept on. It’s shirt concise and Nas killed the Magic theme throughout the album, I honestly think it’s the third best album in the Hit Boy run after KD 3 and Magic 1. It’s the best to play in the car. I know I’m in the minority but Magic 3 was such a let down to me after Magic 2. Love Pistols, What This All Really Means, Motion, Bokeem, Black Magic, Earvin Johnson, Abracadabra and his flow on Office Hours (verse 1) is the craziest flow he’s had since Serious with AZ. Only knock is 50’s verse and the bonus song IMO. Only 1 blah track and one wack (thankfully short) feature.

Magic 2 has been one of my favorites of the Hit-Boy run since the day I heard it. I LOVE it when Nas gets in his experimental bag and him rapping over beats like Abracadabra and Black Magic were dope to me.

this is my same stance on this album. i felt the same about magic 3 (when comparing it to this). Nas was extremely sharp on this album. Playing with flows and sounded like he legit was having fun on here.
