I know Eminem is NOT popular on the coli so this is risky to share here, but 50's horrendous verse made me appreciate Ems verse more on EPMD2. I wasn't feeling it at first but it's pretty dope in hindsight.

fresh off my 5th listen, im still unpacking it, but digging a bit deeper, i feel like this album is something between a subject driven and concept album centered around different forms and conceptions of magic: from the intro with magic don juan to the fredo who got shipped out to vegas; a city synonymous with fakeness, slight of hand, etc. all the way to the bonus; a game of 21 and how he's cheated the streets. there's definitely a focus on this album different then any of the other hitboy projects. for him to almost be 50, making music for 30 years, to have this kind of creativity...just wow.

said it after kd 2, but yeah, im not even entertaining goat "discussions" anymore. go argue w/ your mammy.

One thing about Em is he’s still passionate about music, it wasn’t the best but it’s better than that verse.

Nas is having success doing what he wants. I have no issue w/ that. I’d *prefer* to hear some true East coast production.

I don't mind Nas working with other producers but the lack of creativity in suggestions is a pain in the ass...does it HAVE to be boom bap adjacent? Why not Sounwave? Why not DJ Quik? Why not Pharrell? Why not Araab(only suggestion mentioned in here I've seen that's not the usual). Hell fukk it, I'm interested in seeing what he can do with KAYTRANDA if they can get the chemistry right. fukkin Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, Yusef Dayes, Tom Misch, Nubya Garcia...there's plenty of artists in the boom bap scene and Nas left that space decades ago.

That song he did recently for that Spiderman soundtrack had some of the most interesting production he's had in years imo. Not necessarily my preference but quite refreshing and well executed.

Yes, that speed rapping makes me want to turn it off immediately. He did that on the Griselda album as well and ruined the end of the song IMO, when he does that he loses me. I agree 100%.
