I prefer the other projects but still have this at 4/5. Agree with the posts saying they should’ve named it something different. It feels closer to KD3 than the first Magic whereas that was on some completely different shyt.

My perspective has changed 3 times. First I was feeling it. Accepting the album for what it is. Then I was disappointed off 2nd listen. Because I wanted that Magic 1 feel. Now I'm in love with it. Gave it another spin and this shyt knock in the whip. I'm still not feeling the Magic Johnson joint. But Abracadabra grew on me. Tight effort. Once I got over the hype and heavy anticipation I'm good with it. It's not trash to me. My joints are in no order

First several listens I think it’s a worthy entry to the catalogue and another great record in the Nas-Hit-Boy collabo
Definitely got a little bit of a different sound and feel but I’ve felt that way about every album
What’s been part of the dopeness of this series is there’s so many different sounds, vibes, moods, colors, patinas, texture, energies, etc. that gives each project it’s own identity and character but there’s also so many elements that are similar that connect each project to give it some cohesion
I’ll be back to give my favorite tracks
