Not gonna lie I have noticed Nas dropping names a lot more both rappers and non rappers in the last few albums. Obviously Nas has always mentioned famous people but particularly noticed it on Magic 2. Although most are shout outs to legends which may be in reference to 50 year anniversary

How I currently have it:
1. Magic
2. KD3

4. KD1

Magic 2 more cohesive to me than KD1 (I got a few skips on KD1 these days a lot of the time if not in the mood) and in terms of rapping Nas vastly better. But KD1 still got highs I don’t think Magic 2 reaches like car 85, the cure
Having said that I’m not knocking Magic 2. It’s a really good project but yeh I can’t put it above any of the others so far just yet. Give it few more months and I think could go above KD1.

Yeah I can’t say these albums all sound the same when there’s a clear distinction with KD 1 and 2 and Magic 1 alone sonically.

LIG was about 3-4 songs away from being in Nas top 3, if a few tracks were swapped out with deluxe edition songs. Still a great albumFinally comfortable with my Nas rankings

I enjoy it while hitting the gym.. bopping my head in between sets. Love it. He definitely floated…then I like office hours right after.. goes perfect in the gym back to back…. but my goodness motion, bokeem, and emj back to back to back in the whip is retarded and what this all really means definitely give you that good New York summer vibe..
