Wayne having one of the better performances says a lot of about rappers and performance. you can't predict who's better than who in that aspect.

Nas being contrasted against everyone who performed that night and still shining brightest. for years people propagated this idea that he was a bad performer. well now we can directly compare on the same stage some of the best mc's of any era and see that's not true.

The album was perfectly timed to coincide with everything thats been going on including the Billboard cover, the Hall Of Fame induction, etc. after this month he’s back on tour with Wu-Tang until October so i’m sure he wanted to release the album at a period BEFORE the Hip Hop is 50 hype train really kicked into gear. He wasn’t even announced on the bill for that concert until a week beforehand
