It's crazy how much they elevated from KD1 as they spent more time together. And that was still a great album.
Hell yeah. They found their footing once they got to KD 2. But all 6 albums are such a amazing run. I know ya love Alchemist on here. But 1 producer making so many diverse beats for one artist is insane. Slap all the known producers names on their and they would be giving these albums 5 mics across the board.

My fav song just keeps changing.

On very 1st listen, it was

Based on true events part 2

Then after some spins , it was

Superhero status

Then ,

Japanese soul bar or Never die

Now,

It has to be "No Tears"

Like how can that not be the best song šŸ˜‚ . Just unbelievably groovy, mature and perspective

That's why its important to let albums marinate before giving microwave analysis

That's one of the most impressive thing. I love alchemist right now and would be thrilled to see a Nas and alc collab.
But 6 album with alc would be redondant as hell. I can't even differienciate the 2 Alfredos album or all them boldy joints.
None of the hit boy Nas album sound alike. Even on the same album the versatility of hit boy is insane. He can give him 27 summers and then Store run, The cure and then All bad.
He can basically emulate Havoc Primo Pete Rock Timbo and Metro all in one producer

Exactly. And u can't tell me u don't here 9th wonder on Jodeci Member. I just wish Hit-boy got more props for putting all this together. Nas damn near seen a ghost when he heard the beat for Speechless. Shyt I did too. :russ:I like Alchemist and Havoc and all but I feel like it was ment to be when it came to Hit-boy and Nas.

To me it's in the middle, kd3 magic and kd2 are above, nice recovery from magic 2 (which was disappointing at first, but great in insight)

I feel you on this. Magic 2 was most disappointing off first few spins. The others I was fully happy with immediately. Magic 2 took time to grow on me. But Magic 3 is below KD2 and KD3 for me and it's often a toss up between magic 1 and 3

SINY!!
If Nas decides to complete the Lost tapes trilogy I would love to hear anything that was left over during this 6 album run he and Hit-Boy had together. I can't see them leaving anything off because it was bad. There were definitely tracks that didnt fit the sounds/themes they were going for with each project.....if they compiled all that leftover material it would still be better than most other artists albums.
