Because Kanye isn’t in that same space when he produced those joints and his production style has dramatically changed...for the worse.

But we shall I see, I’m going in to this album with no expectations

he seems to adapt to whoever he's producing for. Daytona was produced fairly recently as well as Ye. Both albums sound way different. I think he puts himself in the artist's zone. I personally didn't like most of Ye but then again that seems to be his own personal zone.

Cause beforw Kanye came forward talking about him producing the album for Nas as part of his five album thing, Nas was already talking about having an album done--or working on it or whatever sine 2016. Meaning that Nas has been working on and off on a album for 5 years of his own that still he hasnt released and may have scrapped

But this album thats coming out next week was born out of Nas going to the wyoming sessions since March of his year
