You are asking if Nas, the Venture Capitalist who put up major bread to be a part of this casino, will make consistent profit?

Come on man... he didnt start investing this year breh. Let your common sense kick in.

I hear you, but what are the mechanics of this?

Can you or I invest in this said Casino?

Or do ppl have to part of some exclusive club where you have to invest a million minimum?

I see everyone's excited here like they equate Nas + Queens casino = Nas is now millions of dollars richer.

Just a bunch of great job Nas.

But why?

How is Nas going to make money off this?

Is it guaranteed for life?

What are the details?

Dont forget Nas is the "cryptocurrency Scarface!" Lol. For all those who think Nas don't have any bread or he's not a mogul now you are sadly mistaken. He was an early investor in Coinbase and when it IPO'd he made something like 100 million off that alone.

He is also a co-owner of Mass Appeal records and he's into other venture capital shyt too.

Nas got a lot of bread now.

Im happy for him on a individual level but I gotta laugh at seeing nikkas doing a 180 about casinos cause its nasty. As someone who lived in vegas, that is not good for the community at all. The strip being infamous for the tunnels and shytty apts surrounding the area.

It seems like both Nas and Jay Z are capitalists. Just like Donald Trump is a capitalist - but ppl hate Trump here and elsewhere.

Hip hop has historically celebrated capitalism.

I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing. But it's like ppl switch their philosophies here.

Throw a Casino in Times Square.

Add hyper money making games to the Queens Casino.

Cool, if people look at gambling as a random fun time.

However, when gambling does become destructive to the person and family - that's their responsibility.

Just as it's the capitalists responsibility to increase profits.

But Nas does good with Mass Appeal because it's a way of contributing back.

Side note:

Trump Entertainment Resorts, Inc.
It was founded in 1995 as Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts by Donald Trump, who after 2004 held only a minority ownership. The company filed for bankruptcy in 2004, 2009 and 2014. It became a subsidiary of Icahn Enterprises in 2016.

....Carl Icahn ate it up.

Just like buying ownership into anything else

He put Im sure a few million in for the expansion in exchange for an ownership percentage at Aqueduct Casino

ownership is for life and Im sure his kids can inherit any stake just like anything else.

  • Annual gross gaming revenue (GGR): In September 2025, a Resorts World spokesperson noted that the casino typically brings in "close to $1 billion per year in gross gaming revenue," based on its operations as a video lottery terminal (VLT) facility. This figure offers a general benchmark for 2024.

  • Expansion plans: Resorts World unveiled a $5 billion expansion plan in February 2024 to become a full-scale commercial casino, projecting its GGR will more than double to $2.2 billion by 2027 if it receives the license.

Okay, thank you for that.

Ppl are saying Nas this and that.

But I think it it came out that Nas was great with money when his divorce info came out.

I remember he was supposed to pay Kelis over $30,000 a month.

Nas said he was embarrassed because alot of his peers didn't know he made money like that.

I don't remember his income being stated but it prolly was.

For years after It was written I thought Nas was a has been with great albums. Untill that info came out.

And him being so great with money then investments brought more light and shine and life unto him.

Did anyone else think like that? Because Nas albums weren't selling as much as say a Ludacris or Ja Rule back then.
