News about Nas' new album is coming really slow. All we know of is two possible tracks, both of which have gotten press.

No Such Thing as a White Jesus Feat. Frank Ocean
Sinatra in the Sand Feat. Justin Timberlake and Jay Z

Can Nas come close to matching the success he had with Life is Good? I think it will depend more on the unheralded tracks. The fillers. Life Is good had Stay, Locomotive, World is an Addiction plus superior bonus tracks like Trust, Where's the Love and Roses.

I assume we will probably see articles pr hear producers talk about about, at least, two more top tracks before the album drops. We shall see.

I wanna hear both but definitely not crazy about JT. I also heard eminem was on that track. JT Jay z is garbage enough. Would be pissed if eminem was on their too. Nas should let them get on filler quality tracks not featured tracks.

Although I still listen to Life Is Good, he needs to drop a song from this new album to really give us an idea of where he's going.

Right now, it's probably a given that the first single or leaked song will be produced by Salaam Remi.

He isn't going to rush it out. He wants a positive reaction and knows he really isn't selling huge amounts of records. Nas doesn't like to make albums that sound the same, but I imagine he'll isolate himself to one or two producers like he did with Life Is Good, since that really helped with him developing the appropriate sound for his last album.

The frank ocean track is a left-over from LIG, so I wouldn't expect it to make the cut. If he works with FO, it'll most likely be on a newer track. The Jay-z track was just an idea that Timbo discussed with Nas and Jay, and doesn't even exist yet. I don't think it'll happen; it's just Timbo getting ahead of himself.

Edit: Dudes need to stop with the Remi hate. When Nas ditched him for HHID/Untitled, the production quality went down the drain. Bringing him back to work alongside No I.D. was the best choice to get that unique orchestral-classical and throw-back sound he nailed on LIG.
