That’s great in this climate. That’s right around what I predicted for this album in the first place.I dont think it matters for legacy acts...

I'm still listening to CyHi No Dope On Sunday. If it's good it's good. fukk the sales

It’s so foolish to care about sales for a artist like nas. Especially on his on Indy label. He had no shot selling 100k. He’s been rapping for 30 years manhe’s a goat and dropped a dope album. who cares about the rest
I say this as a HUGE Nas fan who listened to this album fully like 6 times now. I dont work for mass apeal and I'm not Nas so it dont put money in my pocket. Those are artist concerns (how it's received, sales, etc.)...I'm a consumer of the art (my only concern is do I love the art, if I do I support). I hope the brotha sell a billion copies (but come on, he's been at it for 30 years and it's 2020), but I really dont care. If I had never seen this thread, i would have never thought about Nas' number. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to see ur fav artist etc etc, succeed. Sales def ain’t the only thing that matter at all but him going number 1 with this album would've been a milestone for his career. That’s a big deal for someone who has never based his career around sales and always marched to the beat of his own drum. shyt would be a great accomplishment. It’s more about the number 1 than it is the sales.Yeah...I dont get being this invested in this as a fan. shyt is weird.I say this as a HUGE Nas fan who listened to this album fully like 6 times now. So. We just gonna not count 2 full collab albums in a row? Ok. But I bet u nikkas wouldn’t have no problem counting that project he did with Ye tho right?Sorry friend, but that was a Jay Electronica album. If you would like to see numbers from Jay Z’s last solo effort, please google “4:44”

or something definitely off. Taylor Swift and The Killers are projected to do like 50K and 30K in pure sales which would mean they will have to be getting sales from their own websites or something like that and not Itunes or Amazon since Nas is #1 The only thing that's great is I don't follow sales anymore because this is hilarious. nikkas making up numbers lmao

though, its not that serious.Nas is not a young artist so he isn't going to stream ridiculous but the interesting part about the pure sales is HHD is projecting him to only do 18K when hes been number 1 on Itunes and Amazon for the last 5 and 4 days respectively. Which would mean it only takes about 2000 album sales to reach the number one spot on these platformsor something definitely off.
