@JamieFoxxHairline :psalute:

Thanks for editing the thread title breh. But I think there is still more editing needed :prodigylol:

Specifically, the "avoids jail" part.

To my knowledge, the IRS never initiated a criminal investigation in connection with the tax liens.
Stating that he avoided jail in the thread title implies that a criminal investigation had been opened, that Nas was indicted, and under threat of imprisonment, Nas paid his taxes.

How Criminal Investigations Are Initiated | Internal Revenue Service

I would suggest either removing "avoids jail" or changing it to "avoids jail (as we all theoretically do whenever we pay our taxes, but to be clear, a criminal investigation was never opened and Nas was never charged with any crime)".

Thanks breh :psalute:

The fact that Nas was delinquent for over 6.46 million in federal taxes & had trouble paying them off for a decade shows he was having money issues no matter how you try and spin it.
Receipts regarding that he had "trouble" paying them off for over decade?
Please let us know when the tax debt was fully paid, and if there was a schedule for the payments, please link us to that.

Ultimately, I do agree that there was some kind of an issue (whether it be money, or a bad accountant, or Nas just simply being irresponsible) going on about a decade ago.
And it's funny that you conveniently left out that Nas STILL has outstanding Tax liens he hasn't paid in full.
Please post receipts showing that there is an outstanding tax lien TODAY. Receipts from 18 months ago don't prove that he STILL has an outstanding lien.

And just because the O.P inadvertently didn't link the story he posted doesn't change the fact that Nas has overdue taxes currently

No matter how many excuses you wannabe Nas accountants & business managers can come up with won't help pay his tax debt. :jawalrus:

You fatherless Nas Stans are hilarious.

This story came from XXL in January of Last year and their source for him still owing 500k was bossip. How do you know he has current outstanding debt without a dated reference dummy? You just started gossiping like a bytch didn't even question the lack of a source.
Nas Pays IRS $3.5 Million - XXL

Clearly says in the news article that bossip claims Nas owes that money. "the site" as it is references is their source.

Congratulations y'all chatty patties played yaselves.

Bossip did show the tax liens from GA on their site.
Those liens were filed 2 years ago. None of us know if those liens have been paid or not.

Then you have to ask yourself how can it be considerable a black business because one guy on the board who they are making the face of the company is black doesn't make it a black business.
I dunno I've never been in that position to know what its like to acquire a company as an asset and I have no idea what their intent is long term. They might just be trying to build value and sell not lock down there for the long term and build around it. If it was a business that he started from the ground up like his restaurants I could see your point because he has time to influence the hiring practises and culture of the workplace as it is not established.

:usure: And how do you know that he has paid off his current tax debt "without a reference" dumb motherfukker?

Also the story in regards to Nas past taxes is based on 2 NEW tax liens filed by the state of Georgia.

Nas Hit With 2 New Tax Liens

"theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, Nas (real name Nasir Bin Olu Dara Jones) is facing new financial challenges. The 44-year-old rapper has been hit with two new tax liens.

Both were filed this month
, by the state of Georgia. The first accuses Nas of refusing to pay up on $309,671 for the 2013 tax year. The second claims he failed to pay up $50,155.

Both are for unpaid state taxes and the state says that if the balance isn’t paid in full, they will begin to seize his property and assets."

:what: You're the one in denial who questions the news story that was just released on Nas & his back taxes, so it's up to you to disprove the information if you have an issue with it, not me.

I'm under no obligation to do anything :prodigylol2:
In any event, if its true I'd agree with you that it shows a lack of financial management if this is still going on in 2013.
