Whew best album since God son is a stretch. He has had some gems. Untitled, life is good, distant relatives are all dope. Kings disease dope too though. You can’t get into Nas best album since Gods’Son?

I hope Gibbs wins even though Nas is the most deserving. Crazy he doesn't already have one.
Looks like they got rid of the stuffy judges and have people on the board who actually know their hip-hop. Respective list of nominees.

So you saying Lil Baby and Pop Smoke are considered more hip hop than Nas, Royce and Gibbs? Seems like you just want them to focus on the newcomers than the established artists.they have people who understand a certain lane, for sure. but you can’t say they know hip hop when arguably hip hop’s two biggest newcomers (pop smoke and lil baby) get snubbed.
pop was on his way to becoming the biggest nyc artist since cardi when he passed. and his album delivered. baby is already one of the biggest artists in the south.
don’t care how you feel about their music; they both earned nominations. and I would argue both of their albums are better than royce’s, at least.
Gibbs been expressing his feelings about crackers on his albums since piñata, this can be said about him as wellelectronica wont win... if those white folks turn on the album the first thing they will hear is farrakhan
royces album wasnt even good
its between nas and gibbs. nas will get it

WordWhite Folks at the Grammy's was like we tired of these wack ass millennials, Generation Z rapper's. Time to bring back the real![]()

Hey Bruh my generation was dope. Nas spazzed on that joint actually.Life is Good is way better than King’s Disease, stop it.
Stay >>>>>> anything on that album. And that ain’t the best song on LiG.
Untitled and Distant Relatives are also better imo. Minus that bullshyt song with Joss Stone, Distant Relatives is a borderline classic.

I'm just not on the Lil Baby train like that. I mean I like his music but it's not good enough to hold my attention for AOTY consideration. RIP Pop Smoke but thats about where it ends for me. His music was very disposable for me as well. Now I agree Jay Elec should be nowhere on this list. RTJ4 should've made the cut IMO. Like you said they newcomers (at least Lil Baby) they'll have more opportunities.
