Nas fans don't care about Beyoncé.

The Be-Hive are girls/women who don't listen to Nas nor buy his album.
Do you know a 25 year woman who even know Illmatic, Stillmatic, Life is Good ? No

And even if it's true. Why having Ye, DAYTONA, Kids See Ghost released within 3 weeks is not a problem for sales but become one for NASIR?

Last question: which album did you bought?

Neither, hence, why I'm looking at this from a complete neutral pov. I might check the Nas album tho.

The Beyhive is going to boost the sales on the Jay+Beyonce album, but that's playing right into the strategy. Hip Hop is a competition. I don't get how when someone like a Drake is involved everyone on his neck, but now all of a sudden everyone talking about "just enjoy the music" as if there's no politics or competition here too?

Y'all can play damage control all you want, but I guarantee you Ye and Nas are heated right now and Ye might just let it be known too. :yeshrug:As a fan, you think we not supposed to discuss this stuff? :mjlol:This is what the competition is all about. It's a spectator sport. Fans are absolutely part of this when they're the ones buying the records and making the noise.:troll:

I know he ain’t on the itunes the POINT is that this was one big crying session thread acting like the mere EXISTENCE of a Jay album takes all the attention from Nas like Nas ain’t been around TWENTY FIVE YEARS and in those TWENTY FIVE YEARS hasn’t picked up a loyal fan or two.

Thats bullshyt.

Either we real fans and we believe in Nas’s ability to pull in sales based upon the quality of his output or we’re not. It takes MONTHS of planning to put a mainstream album out. You don’t just drop shyt so you can have some imagined W over another rapper. Nas and Jay battle is OVER. Nas done told us when we were all on Sohh PERSONALLY to let it go. Nas and Jay been supporting each other since 2005. Thats THIRTEEN YEARS of good vibes, collaborations, business dealings.
Shut the fukk up. You fukk nikkas that stay on Jay's cock give him a pass for all his snake movememnts and bullshyt.

Most Jay and Bey fans are snakes, suckas, and cacs anyways, so its not surprising that so many losers have no problem with it. That fakkit Jay (along with 50 cent) basically destroyed NY hiphop and you losers still defend that clown.

This Nas album will still hit no 1. Its just to great. Jay's relevance is out the door

I remember this. And he STILL took a shot at Jay the year after on American Gangster album. Lol. And Jay STILL kept talking about how Takeover is better than Ether after that. Not saying they wasnt cool. I'm just sayin I dont think they cool enough to NEVER have an issue again.

Bro. Them taking little potshots out of healthy competition and Jay releasing an ENTIRE album just to spite Nas are two different leagues apart.

The most likely answer is probably the truth. Jay/Bey planned this tour, it probably wasn’t selling out tickets to their expectations (obviously not a flopped tour but not as epic as they expected) so they had the album ready to go. This is about one thing primarily (MONEY) and also I think Jay is salty as fukk he didn’t get AOTY at the Grammys so teaming with Bey gives him the best chance to avenge that loss.

Also this doesn’t really fukk with Nas’s business in the slightest. The Good Music not having the album mixed and mastered on time fiasco? YES. Jay dropping an album the same day? Nah.

Nas has his business down pat. He and Anthony Saleh have made ALL the right moves the past six years. Nas just signed his OWN label to a distribution deal with UMG. That means Fashawn, RTJ, and Dave East gonna be eating good for a minute. That means we’re GURANTEED new Nas music in the future. That means Nas is still relevant both within the culture and the mainstream. If these multimillion dollar companies are investing in him, a Jay album isn’t going to hurt any of that.

Nas simply just got caught in the divine justice/karma of the GOOD MUSIC struggles this month.

Everyone who affiliated with Kanye just cause he a great producer ended up getting burned. This is what happens when you affiliate with a known c00n who said the things he said just recently.

The Youtube stream was like  i ain't about to play this shyt....you c00ning for Kanye and the 400 year anniversary of when we were "reported" to come to America(1619) is next year, and you partying and working with a dude who been c00ning nonstop. That is why the stream stopped on Youtube, she didn't wanna support this.

More than likely Nas is going to have the number one album in the country. Which is amazing considering most rappers have maybe a two year run. Nas dropped his debut album in 1994, let that sink in

i never understood why people say this dumb shyt.

how do you brag about being #1 when you are the most famous person that drops on a certain day?

Nas’ “NASIR” Reaches #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart

5 Seconds Of Summer’s new “Youngblood” spent Friday atop the US iTunes sales chart.

Saturday morning, a different new release seized the throne.

Nas’ “NASIR,” that album, had taken over the #1 position by 10AM ET. It remains in that position as of press time at 11:15AM.

“Youngblood” is currently #2, while Christina Aguilera’s “Liberation” sits at #3. BLACKPINK’s “Square Up” EP and Mike Shinoda’s “Post Traumatic” follow at #4 and #5, respectively.

Kanye West executive produced the “NASIR” album; he also co-produced each track. Like his own recent “ye” and “Kids See Ghosts” releases, “NASIR” features seven tracks.

Yea guys... lets be REAL SCARED another legend dropped an album the same day as Nasir. :mjlol:
A Mike Shinoda album? Lank?

Still dig this jam from The Raid.
