I wonder why the Trackmasters never get their proper due. They made Nas a superstar, they reinvented LL Cool J's career, and gave Will Smith a great musical comeback.

Guessing they couldn't clear the sample? I wish this was the intro to the album instead of that corny Intro skit. Or better yet I wish the intro was just the part with the beat where Nas and AZ are talking.

hearing that intro just adds a bit to the anticipation,cause you know he's about to start the track with 'fake thug,no love.....'

it was written is better then illmatic by a landslide imo yeah i said it.

IWW was a solid, more commercial follow up to illmatic.

Illmatic had nikkas saying nas was the best rapper in the game IMMEDIATELY. The fact that your saying "landslide". IWW had a few skipables. Nothing gets skipped on Illmatic
