Never understood the infatuation with this track. Nas and Just Blaze just doesn't move me

My understanding was Nas didnt finish recording the verse/other verses as it wa the night of his surprise birthday party in 06 (that old school one with all the celebs)

I didnt hear until later Jay was considered to be on it too, thought it was just a solo Nas/Just collab for the HHID album, but a few years after the snippet leaked the snippet with Hov leaked. Made me wonder if he went in later

I do find it funny Jay and Nas were waitng on who recorded whos verse first, which showed there was still a paranoia and competition about better verses. I personally like whe they collabo (success and black republicans and do it for hip hop are all dope to me) but I can see why some people think they got awkwardness on tracks cause of that competition.
