I just bought $1000 of Bitcoin via Coinbase this morning because of Nas (Technically $997.01 cause they charge you $2.99). I know a little little bit about Bitcoin and Crypto in general but I'm about to do the knowledge heavy for the next few weeks until I know it all. They harassing me via email, lol, they already reminded me three times that I can start trading on April 19. shyt is lightweight exciting, if I like what I'm hearing after my studies I'm investing a lot more. Anybody heavy into this shyt? My BTC balance is 0.01something, is that cool or light?

a well known wall street billionaire predicted bitcoin was going to 100k. this was after the selloff in 2019 that brought it down to 7k.
at the time sounded so far fetched.

but be very careful. at these prices, i wouldn't touch it. but that's because i like to swing for the fences. if the price reverses, I'd be in deep shyt

1k profits don't excite me

$230 a share...shyt is going to shoot to like $500 when they open it
Already at $600+ in pre-IPO market Coinbase Pre-IPO tokenized stock FTX price today, CBSE live marketcap, chart, and info | CoinMarketCap

If you don't know Crypto by now, you should find out. Bitcoin being offered by Cash App, Venmo, Paypal, Sofi.

Bitcoin is going to be the reason we're going to get a major consolidation of banks. It will literally replace banks. You will become the bank. Permissionless transfer of funds. No oversight (with limits). We're in the US so it's not that apparent yet but the rest of the world understands it immediately. Our economy's strength makes Bitcoin and crypto hard to understand why it's good since our system and currency is already so solid. That won't always be the case.

Just Google and do some research on:
- Bitcoin
- Defi (Decentralized Finance)
- Ethereum

I recommend buying a little to play with it. Coinbase PRO, KuCoin.

If you want to invest, do like 1-2% of your net worth. All as a hedge.

You have any articles/blogs/etc... specifically on Bit or crypto in general that you recommend? Salute.

What has changed since 2012 other than the price getting higher? Serious question.
Institutional investment and whole economy of tools and services. It's widespread, mainstream. Hedge funds are investing in it. It's accepted and not at risk of vaporizing. It's rock solid tech with legitimate companies and people behind it.

Honestly if you're starting out, just YouTube. The people there will walk you through every aspect. Easiest to just dip your toe in. And just watch it for a bit.

Nas and QB Ventures invested in Coinbase, they have a small ownership stake. And they invested relatively early, so their stake has already gained value now that CB’s valuation has grown.

Coinbase is about to go public, meaning that QB Ventures is about to cash out. That ownership stake they had gets transferred to stock. They can keep the stock in Coinbase or they can liquidate it immediately.

They invested in US Dollars. Don’t get caught up on the fact that Coinbase deals with crypto, they’re about to be a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. This isn’t magic fairy money they’re playing with, it’s US Dollars.

We can’t just say Nas is gonna walk away w/ $100 Million next week. The number will vary depending on opening price, but whether it’s 100 or 55 or 80, it’s impressive as hell.

I saw people (not you) gargle Jay-Z’s balls because he had a .003 % ownership stake in the Nets, but they won’t give Nas credit for being an early investor in some of the most innovative tech companies we’ve seen.

Repped! Thank you for that clear explanation! Understood!
