I'd have to go with Nas on this because he was a far superior lyricist.

SINY!!
IMO Nas has a far superior unreleased catalogue. Tupac had an incredible work ethic and it shows based on the volume of unreleased music he recorded.

Quality>Quantity......

Not saying that Tupac didnt have a lot of good music, but he also recorded enough sub-par stuff that he is knocked down a notch.

No one bothers with pacs unreleased shyt. After he died and the hype about his unreleased music was all over the place till people heard it and moved on. Nas unreleased music is better than pacs official music..pac is all hype cause of his run isn with the law but his actual music is rather weak..has a few strong songs but majority is very average and forgettable.

Music wise though, pac had better producers... That's it. You put Nas's unreleased accapelas over top beats and you have more classic stuff. If you put Nas's unreleased accapelas and Pac's over the same beats and see whose work is best.

I can count (off the top of my head) maybe ten or twelve instances where Pac has reused or partially reused a verse for a different song. How many unreleased songs does he have? 200? 300? You're focusing on a small percentage here... And I'm sure I could up with a similar number for Nas.

I clearly mentioned Nas has done similar but my premise is we dont know how many unreleased tracks Pac has that arent remixes after his death. I heard for ages it was "6 CDs worth of stuff" when he died in 96 though

Yeah, I saw that... I'm just pointing out that you're focusing on a small percentage of songs for 2Pac.
