With a population of 2,405,464 as of the 2020 census,[2] Queens is the second-most populous county in New York state, behind Kings County (Brooklyn), and is therefore also the second-most populous of the five New York City boroughs.
I live in NYC, I know about the demographics and diversity. I was pushing back on the 3 million number. I’m also well aware of how Long Island City is the new hotspot to move to because it’s a stop away and it has spearheaded the Queens growth.

It's the middle point between 2 and 3 million, +- 20% :dahell:
Include illegals and we might be much closer to 3 than 2.

I said it in the Nas thread when I saw the IG post...he might catch some heat for this one lol
But it seems like some of yall are saying this aint even near QB and its mostly a resort/entertainment venue as well as casino (though I dont know why Jamiaca Queens)

Obviously they'll still be discourse about gentrification to go with any promises of jobs for the community. Im actually surprised they didnt approach 50 to do it.

you dont even have to say if this was any other rapper ,Jay is doing the same in Manhattan and theres not much push back either.

As Nas and other rappers were growing in the investment and business world, these types of more controversial ventures were always gonna come in and Im sure he was told they would create jobs etc , but I dont know if thought of the other issues, though to be fair that dont affect him and it would be dumb to turn it down for just that reason. But I do remember his manager saying on the rap radar podcast years ago, he was someone super concern with how the perception would look on a certain business move and hes exited some investments at the right time that later had controversies to them (Coinbase, Ring and Robinhood were all big ones in the portfolio that all had issues after going public and the assuming the investors made their exit/cash out) I just that though thats less avoidable as deals comes through and you're gonna end up with some controversial stuff.

Nyggas legit in here heartbroken over a casino investment...lmaooo

Where is your outrage for the lottery and scratchoffs? Because that's where most people actually gamble on. Not no damn casino.

Casinos are for people who are more well to do. They pay for drinks, food, entertainment etc..

It aint for the poor. Poor people play numbers.

Yall nyggas are goofy

As far as Casino's and gambling goes, Jay, Nas, Drake all of them are promoting this shyt like it's having a glass of expensive wine or something like that.
Casinos and gambling is more like cocaine, destroys a lot of homes and lives :snoop:

Also weird to see all of them promote this shyt without those 3 minute disclaimers, numbers for help and shyt.

:what: Where the fukk am I
