where do you get he was 17 tho? Deja Vu was recorded in between Illmatic & IWW even though it appears on many Pre-Illmatic mixtapes. it's clearly more in the IWW frame of rhyming so i'd say he was prob 20-21 when writing it rather than 17 like when he wrote Live At The BBQ verse.
