Nas need to drop that solo album before he does a joint project...
And honestly I doubt they’d do an entire album. MAYBE an EP, and that’s stretching it.
If you look at both of their Collab history Nas has done Distant Relatives, which had specific theme, and Jay has done WTT, which was with a producer he’d known and done music with for over 12 years. Joint albums need a certain CHEMISTRY to work. They’d have to spend hours in the studio together, coming up with concepts, beats, and a theme that BOTH could rock with. I know they are friends now, but they are both two VERRRYYYY different artists.
The more likely avenue would be a world tour together. That would be dope as fukk
Have you seen NaS' peformances latelyJayz would get annoyed with Nas after like 2 nights on the road, how much Nas be messing up lyrics and forgetting bars on stage. Then again it may be a good thing though because I don't think Nas's people bring it up to him since he's the boss, Jay-z probably would sit him down like yo, what's up with you on stage dog? That said, Nas still the goat, no hate, I'd buy like 5 copies of this album were it to ever happen.

Have all of these dudes even produced nice shyt as of lately?if this happens, i'm hoping for an illmatic / black album sort of deal where its one producer per track (which i know neither of the two albums actually did but you get the idea) and hopefully its a mix of the Roc-A-Fella camp (Just, Ye), Nas' best usual producers (Primo, Large Prof), and some other top tier producers (Q-Tip, Havoc, Pete Rock, RZA).
for a 10 track album which producers would yall choose? this would be my 10:
- RZA
- Premier
- Pete Rock
- Just Blaze
- Kanye
- Q-Tip
- Pete Rock
- Large Prof
- Havoc
- Dre

I'd love a NaS and jay album as long as we're guaranteed a solo NaS album afterwards.

Premier has PRhyme, and I wouldn't count RZA out, his collabs with Kanye were pretty great. A name I was iffy on was Dre because it's really been a while for him but someone just brought up No ID who would be perfect for this so they can swap. Neptunes have also been doing some dope shyt lately and theyve been producing for Hov since forever so they could also get a spot.Have all of these dudes even produced nice shyt as of lately?
I know Just, Q-tip and Kanye have, Pete Rock dropped a classic on WTT 7 years ago too but the rest?
If this shyt happened, which it won't, I would hope that it's dope producers with new sounds, fukk the names.
