It's a pretty wide accepted fact that Nas got the title of the album from Cam. Stahhhhp
That wasn't even my point :heh:
If you want to give that punk ass dude cam credit then so be it but he wasn't the first or 100th dude to say hip hop was dead. There's no need to give credit to nas nor cam.

Nas thinks Drake is dope though. He brought out French and Meek at SJ, I've seen him cosign Rae Smerrurd, I've seen him tweet that A$AP Rocky's Suddenly is his shyt, he's collabed with J. Cole and Big Sean, praised Kendrick and thinks dudes like Joey BADA$$ and Bishop Nehru are the future.

Nas likes where hip hop is right now.

:francis:
Nas has said he's not really feeling the actual music being put out, but he loves the fact that young dudes from the hood can make money to help their families

2006 was MUCH WORSE than today.

King
Fishscale
Food & Liquor
Game Theory
Hell Hath No Fury
Hip Hop Is Dead
Blue Carpet Treatment
Doctor's Advocate
The Inspiration
Laugh Now, Cry Later

^^^ all dropped in 2006 and I'm sure I'm forgetting some. Every region was putting out quality music.

People may have said it before Nas.... but Nas said it when it was actually true... you wanna compare 2006 to today or in the 90s when other rappers had said it? I don't think so...

Another thing that turned me off about the show was the BET CEO came on and quoted Whitney Houston from here remake of the "I Believe that Children are our Future" song and how profound that statement is and what it truly means in terms of black people encouraging and helping to bring our youth up right. However, she came on right after Lil Sean and E-40 did their wack ass "I Don't Give A fukk About You" song. :ld:

She ought to be ashamed of herself! :dead:

She should've went off the top of the dome and spoke because any other conscious mind that was paying attention would've been appalled.
