Was easily Nas' weakest album compared to his others but it still had a couple of cool tracks on there. Big Girl and Quiet nikkaz though :scust:

Nas and P :blessed:

Wasn't never really a fan of the beat but Nas' verse on this was :wow::mjcry::to:

3 Mics his worst album, Project Windows is a great song though.

Nikkas gotta understand this wasn't the plan if the double would have came out :whew:

3.5 mics, his weakest album, but still some dope/classic tracks.

i'm still salty about the whole I Am...Nastradamus rollout...album shoulda been a classic...
Yoooo this shyt still makes me mad too! If you put the best of Nastradamus on I Am (Come Get Me, Life We Choose, Family, Project Windows, etc) nobody would hate on I Am. It would be a solid ass album. Replace shyt like Kissing and Dr Knockout with those tracks and it's a wrap.

Hov wouldn't have been able to diss Nas if Nastradamus didn't come out IMO. That's the album that made dudes realize Nas was vulnerable, but in reality it was due to some bullshyt (leaks and bootleggers).

Word, I liked the Nastradamus single as a kid, but son had on a leather du rag and stuff, seems like he was just trying to do a pop album like how bad boy and them were doing at the time, but still the OG concept was nuts. I promise if Nas wasn't trash at selecting beats, his trash albums would be called classics. Lyrically his weakest albums are still better than majority of mainstream its just the production that makes you say "ok I`m not even going to give this a chance :scust:"

got an EP's worth of good joints but pretty forgettable.

Then Hov had to make his come get me :whew:

as much as i don't really listen to this album because i feel the songs haven't aged well but listening to Jay's raps from around this time period he was in the zone.. he just sounded like the most arrogant, thinks he's better than everybody else, smug bastid and would be easy to dislike but you can't help but like him.

Obviously not his one of his best albums, but I didn't think it was as bad as fans & critics made it out to be. Off the top of my head I can name some dope tracks

Project Windows (classic)
Come And Get Me (classic)
Shoot Em Up (good)
Some Of Us Have Angels (good)
Last Words (good)
Quiet nikkas (decent)
Life We Chose (decent)
Nastradamus (decent)

Nas's verse on Last Words is one of my favorites. I thought it was crazy how he was rapping from the perspective of a prison cell. I believe if Nas spent more time on this album and made the concept more stronger it would've been incredible. It would get good reviews if it came out today no question
