i know you're going to ignore everything I type but I'll do it anyway
Bruh isn't getting fukked legally
He's not getting tried again

But just like legally you have freedom of speech your job can still fire you

You said it yourself, by LAW there is a presumption of innocence
No one is trying him legally

Ppl are deciding whether or not they want to fukk wit Nate based on th evidence that was released

I'm not even saying he's a rapist
I'm not saying he's not either
I'm saying based on the evidence it does t look good for dude
It doesn't look like he was completely clean

What in the fukk are you talking about :why:

The fukk? You know how many murderous cops were found not guilty?

if Zimmerman pointed to his trial as an excuse for people to leave him alone, would you agree? He was found "innocent" too.

I wondering when someone was gonna to make this comparison:mjpls:

As Nate Parker's The Birth of a Nation opens this weekend, the debate over how he could've better handled the fallout from resurfaced 1999 college rape accusations against him is only heating up. Now, it has come to light that one of the most influential people on the planet tried to advise Parker at the outset of the controversy.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oprah Winfrey suggested that Parker do an interview with her best friend Gayle King on CBS to discuss the allegations shortly after they were dug up. (Oprah was one of the first to screen Birth and had praised both the film and Parker on Instagram.) However, Parker was reportedly so "angry" that the charges he'd been acquitted of were being discussed at all that he turned down her help. Since then, Winfrey hasn't uttered another word about Birth or Parker, proving why you never, ever say no to Oprah.

Sources also tell THR that Fox Searchlight, the studio that bought Birth for a record sum, hired a team of PR experts and consultants that included retired NFL player and sexual-violence activist Don McPherson to get Parker "on message," to no avail. “They gave him talking points and he just didn’t execute,” says the source.

Nate Parker Reportedly Refused Oprah’s Help With Damage Control, Becoming the Only Person to Ever Say No to Oprah

he shouldn't have too,

he's black, we black, we bytch and complain about racism, we should support it regardless of what he done, he's married with children, that was in his past, let it go, only c00ns and bedwenches indoctrinate with whiteys mentality.

He did the right thing, he misjudged the blacks who want white approval though.... hope he comes back.

Oprah lost her influence over white women years ago.. And she's never had the young Negro Bed Wench demographic in her grasps..

It wouldn't have helped Nate AT ALL....

This isn't 2002...

You're sadly mistaken. Oprah is extremely influential. There will never not be a time when she isn't.

As for the loserrr in question. He will be forgotten about by next week. He's a non factor and I'm already bored of hearing about him. :russell:

You mean trials in which the jury were their peers, evidence was tampered with, and the victims were made out to be criminals? Yup. That's definitely the same thing

Yeah, exactly. Being called "not guilty" doesn't mean shyt. The system is easily manipulated and getting away from a trial doesn't mean you didn't commit the crime.

And the victim of the Nate Parker's trial had her credibility ruined too. It's a fukking common tactic.

Because it's true. The Justice system is fukking rotten and being called "Not Guilty" is never the same thing as being innocent.

Using the "He was found innocent in a trial" is a stupid defense because we've all seen that the verdict of a trial means absolutely nothing in regards to "if they did it".

Except In ALL of those cases we KNOW they murdered their victims In some of the cases there is video evidence SHOWING the cops breaking the law...eg Eric Garner.. Aside from that Law enforcement have prosecutors, judges, and public sympethy (the jury) on their side.

Zimmerman case had no witnesses, had cops help cover his tracks and a retarded flawed law (Stand Your Ground) in place made to protect idiots just like him. There have been cases where drug dealers have shot rivals and have gotten off using those same laws....

Drug dealer used 'stand your ground' to avoid charges in two killings

Parker went through a full trial where the county and prosecuter were competely against him and yet he still managed to beat the charges..

Stop the comparing those cases with Nate's. They arn't even in the same ballpark...

I don't get why Nate Parker was willing to spend $4000 while broke to chase an investor around the globe just to get rejected, but won't spend five minutes to explain why he shouldn't have seat a drunk chick out. Like Donald Trump ain't even invincible to some shyt like that.

No and Hell No
An apology for what?!?!?! :what: He was exonerated of ALL charges!!!

What's up with all these women and cacs wanting black men to be contrite and apologetic :rudy:

He owes none of y'all nan apology, bump y'all feelings. Dude was acquitted:camby:

What would he be apologizing for?

Idk..maybe he could apologize for being accused. Half this movie is duck tales anyways. He's not a stranger to telling a few white lies to get the results he wants. He should've humbled himself but he didn't. The film will succeed anyways hopefully. I plan on buying a ticket to see it later on this week.
