Along with dark skinned Indians being reclassified to negro, black people who were freed from native slavery were given land and had it taken from them or never received it.
For example in my family there were Choctaw freedmen who were swindled out of their land by being reclassified to negro and by white lawyers of the time who took advantage of their poor literacy to sign over their land allotments to themselves

This is the menu. The place is called Sweet Home Cafe and it looks like the African American menu is up year-round. They’re adding Caribbean food to the menu for a few weeks to honor carribean civil rights leaders.

But I found a letter of request to the department of treasury
The request for documents was completes with no documents found and an invitation to appeal.

The fund is for reparations and for legal expenses. He also offers a scholarship...but he's raised about $25,000 on a goal of $25 million
My question is, if the donations pay reparations, doesnt that defeat the purpose of reparations.
