The more and more I look at it, even without Evans, this is probably Auburn's best class ever in terms of talent and filling needs.
Fixed our main weakness in the secondary(y'all saw us get lit up by every team in the passing game, even cost us a BCS NC

, that's on Chizik) by signing 5 DBs(4 4-stars and 1 3-star), all over 6'. No more short guys my height(

) in the secondary.
Replaced bummy Jake Holland with Tre Williams, a 5 star LB.
Got another QB who is pretty much critically acclaimed by various scouts to be one of the best QBs in the class.
Picked up good WRs, including the only JUCO 5 star in Rivals history I believe.
Got the top RB in Bama, with probably one of the best tapes you'll ever see from a HS RB and a dope FB. Also, had a blocking TE walk-on that was kicked off the team but has got himself straightened out.
Picked up a beast OG in Braden Smith. Played in a Wing-T offense in HS, perfect for Malzahn.
Great DL class especially w/ Andrew Williams.
Not complaining at all. Evans would've been icing on the cake but we really needed a true LB and he wasn't going to play that position anyway.
