dusty is personable and a fan favorite out here with giants fans, but as a manager his in-game management skill is pretty bad. he'll do a good job of keeping players focused and working together, but his style is out of date in today's game. nationals might be able to overcome that with all of the talent they have tho

Basically that's it. Dusty is an ultimate players coach and they prolly got him to get that atmosphere and chemistry worked out. His in game decisions are awful. And he wears down both the starters and the bullpen, a lot of time in meaningless situations.

The weird thing is he'll say and do confounding shyt, he'll make some bizarre decisions that fly in the face of basic logic... and somehow his team will win and make the playoffs. And then they'll lose in agonizing fashion. I fully expect the Nats to blow a 3-1 lead in the NLCS or lose a heartbreaking 7 gamer in the World Series next season.
