you still wrong... . gringo/a is a term to pejoratively describe specifically Americans from the US. Sometimes it get's used for Canadians too, but rarely. It is mainly used to describe white bred cac types. People with Latino heritage are not called gringo/a. The only place t differs is in Brazil where they use the term gringo/a to describe almost anybody that is not Brazilian but even then it comes from the same context as above.
