When they dropped "Livin It Up" I was torn because I thought it sounded too jiggybut then I was like my nikkas might blow up off this
It was over by then.
I started in music with NE, on the label. So I saw everything happening firsthand. Truthfully speaking, when A-Butta got there and KA left, the decline started. The direction of the music took a wild turn. But not for the better.

I have so many stories, bro.
Every Saturday, we would be at the studio in the attic. I started up there as a kid, so it was crazy for me to even be in the same room with dude back then. He was an underground legend to us. This is like '94. Pre-A-Butta. So we got to see Voodoo work on records right there in front of us. I learned a lot during that time. I was still in high school, so I was leaving with beat tapes from Charlegmagne while he was still in his prime and NE songs that never saw the light of day. We all thought Voo was going to be the one that really did something crazy in music. When things started to shift, and the NE lineup kept changing, I could see the end was near.
