I got there "unreleased" Tommy Boy (I think) album, plus I added some other joints on it and I play that a couple times a year...Oh well I'm prolly talking to myself but whatever...glad they making music still...unless this is old

I remember when I first heard Charlemagne's name on the radio I was like Oh shyt the NE producer Then I realized this has to be a different dude

Just checked online...I got the unreleased album but the shyt I'm actually listening to is the '1999: 10 Year Anniversary' album. Looked at it on ughh and read the comments...there's not a lot but still people showing love, no homo, to these dudes.

This is the era I loved...from like 97, 98 to like 02, 03 but really the late 90's early 2000's had me loving hip hop soooo much. The underground scene was fukking bananas. So much good music was made then and it was all about witty raps, crazy wordplay, just being you and making dope music .
No real flashy shyt.


Napster, mIRC & audiogalaxy had my parents home phone busy non stop since I had dialup for a while but those programs/sites had my plate/stomach full....so much piff back then

yep i remember there being an old site called concrete hell on proboards where cats would post this is how i first heard about @gentlejones and a couple of other cats like Virtuoso(he actually use to post on the site), Jedi Mind Tricks back in those days cats were dropping freestyles like every week and here the thing the majority of all the music was dope. i think some artist as time went along great lazy with there work ethic
