Nature vs Nurture

What about those siblings who are polar oposites? The ones that be like night and day. Do you think nurture causes that?

That's the funny thing...is that hanging around all of my siblings...idk what the exact terms are but I guess our temperaments (maybe?) are very different. My big brother is loud, fast talking, brash. I'm much more reserved, kinda cold, a listener. So on a day to day basis you would think me and him are very different.

But I think it has a lot to do with us spending so much time together. He always made the rules to the games and told me which way we were walking to school and what we were going to do that day after we got out. And I followed and learned and listened and made sure not to do anything that would make him put me in a headlock lmao. But as I got older I learned to pick out the signs that he was nervous, or mad for no reason, or anxious...and I realized he has all the same conditions that I do. We just express it differently.

On the other hand...my dad is a twin. Him and his twin brother look alike and that's it

They have completely opposite personalities. But maybe they're like my big bro and me and got that way cus of how their relationship was?

It's nature, not nurture: personality lies in genes, twins study shows


But the expression of your personality is Nuture...


So..if you wanna be a new you...find new people and environments to surround yourself in...

Nurture b/c you can observe it on a day to day basis, or even over a whole lifetime. Still a relatively short timeline.
It's fascinating how closely the 2 are intertwined tho, even in ways we didn't think possible before.
Like something can be triggered in your body b/c of your environment, but then passed on to your offspring genetically

@MoorMe I'll say this..When I look at my bloodline,It's clear nature has made me the male that I am,but being nurtured in a good, home-grown house and community,is what made me the man that I am today. Nature has made me Tall,Brownskin,Smart and somewhat 'Handsome' AND my parents Nurtured me to be a good blue collared guy. My Pops taught me the game,my Mother kicked me some knowledge ,my Grandparents gave me wisdom and my community taught me to love my fellow man,but you can't save everybody. I hope this answers your question.
