From what I was told when they run a background check they can see you were in the military and got discharged but can't see what exactly you got discharged for bruh. If they are concerned they might asked for your DD214 and want to see your separation code. But I don't think that ever happens often but i'm not 100% sure just what i heard.I have an other than honorable discharge for smoking weed on my 30 day vacation before Japan smh spent the whole time smoking weed and shyt driving around with my boy from high school like an idiot

They drug test you randomly and they always drug test u asap when you switch to a new command.
